No, you can start practical driving lessons before passing your theory test. However, you must pass your theory test before you can book your practical driving test. We recommend working on both simultaneously – we can provide theory revision tips and resources to help you pass both tests efficiently.

We're based in Edgware (HA8) and cover a 10-mile radius including Kensington, Harrow, Wembley, Stanmore, Mill Hill, Hendon, Borehamwood, Bushey, Pinner, and surrounding areas. We can arrange pickup from your home, work, or college within this area at no extra charge.

You can book your practical driving test online through the DVSA website once you've passed your theory test. David will help you choose the best test centre and advise when you're ready to book. We can also assist with finding earlier test dates and preparing you for specific test centres like Hendon or Mill Hill.

Don't worry – many excellent drivers don't pass first time. If you don't pass, David will provide detailed feedback on what went wrong and create a focused training plan to address those specific areas. You can rebook your test after 10 working days. Our high 90% first-time pass rate means most students don't face this situation, but we're here to support you either way.

Yes, absolutely! Our vehicles are fully insured for driving tests and maintained to the highest standards. Using a car you're familiar with gives you a significant advantage on test day. We'll ensure the car is spotlessly clean and in perfect condition for your test.

Yes, we offer both manual and automatic driving lessons. Automatic lessons are ideal for those who want to focus purely on road awareness and driving skills without the complexity of gear changes. Note that passing in an automatic restricts your licence to automatic vehicles only, so consider this when choosing.
